busking is very hard work
People think busking is linked to begging and that is not the case. I was convicted of begging as I was busking full-time back from 1991. There were'nt many black buskers around then. I ended up sueing the Police for a wrong conviction(busker challenges ridiculous law}The payout to not disclose my winning to the public could have easily topped £2500. Busking has been ruined by government involvement.
