What's an Israel hat?

The left likes hats?

1. Nukes
2. Western geopolitical interests
3. Duration of conflict

Kashmir lacks 2. Tibet lacks 2. Cyprus lacks them all.

What do any of these have to do with the vehemence with which people hate Israel? That sounds like a pretty rubbish excuse. How does Israel's possession of nuclear weapons make people to want to have all of Israel's Jewish citizens murdered more acceptable?

Your comment looks much more like rationalisation than a serious attempt at explanation

Agree. I don't know how anyone can support Israel after what it's done to the poor Palestinians

I don't know how anyone who can support the Arabs after what they've done to the Jews.

Oh wait, I can; when they're Muslims, their sympathy goes all one way in the same way that Muslims are ultrasensitive to any type of perceived injustice against their brethren, while ignoring crimes by Muslims against Christians and Jews.

That's exactly what it is. Since it is pretty much impossible for us to know whether a person is speaking against Israel due to legitimate concerns or due to anti-Semitism, my post attempts to rationalise why individuals and the media and the political class might pay especial attention to Israel/Palestine outwith the sectarian angle.

I would add the number of civilian deaths which don't occur in Kashmir (sparsely inhabited I think, mainly intermittent ground skirmishes between opposing soldiers) or Korea (cold war).

You have clearly, I suspect wilfully, misunderstood the point of my post, which is not to legitimise calls for ethnic cleansing, extermination of either the Jewish or Palestinian people, or the abolition of their states, or any of the political goals of the belligerents. It is merely that the attentions of the world in general are likely to be closer trained on those nations possessing nuclear weapons, which is one reason why I drew comparisons with the Kashmiri and Korean disputes, and the same with the other two factors I identified.

Sorry, I may be confusing this with a similar post I made where I singled out Kashmir and Korea, cba to check if it is the same thread, but I hope you can see the comparison still holds with respect to the disputes cited, with respect to civilian deaths in addition to the differences cited.

Actually Dawg that's not completely true. They don't care about crimes against Muslims either so long as it's by other Muslims eg you hear crickets among their condemnations of Egypt also enforcing the Gaza blockade (lol)

A lot of people dislike the Jews/Zionists for a multitude of reasons be it:

1) The conflict with Palestine and the hypocrisy of it all
2) Monopolisation of wealth and disproportion success that comes with it - media influence etc.
3) Historical and religious reasons - usury - moneylending etc.
4) Successful Jewish/Zionist families like the Rothschild's
5) Jews are like an international community that help one another do well

At the end of the day, it boils down to either the political side (Zionism) or their practices both now and in historical times gone by.

What are you talking about? I care about the boy being beheaded and crucified in Saudi. I guess he is Muslim.

I care about the Kurds a lot of who are Muslims. I care about people living under ISIS. Even the ones that are grateful of receiving free food from ISIS.

People are confused about terminology. Left wing, right wing, fascist, anti-fascist.

Fascists were really people who resisted Jewish Communist ideology that has killed hundreds of millions worldwide

So many Left wingers are socialists but so were the Nazi's.

Nazi's were against the Jewish bankers they gave the Rothschilds the boot!

If anything the Nazi's were rather progressive and Left wing...

Only because Nazi's are associated with racism people associate that with the far-right.

But you don't think the people Nazi's fought were racist? Churchill was incredibly racist. I can give you more racist quotes from Churchill than anything Hitler said...
