Why not?

Why not?
Forum rules. The idea is that it doesn't help the people asking the question to just give them the answer because they might not understand how to get there themselves. So it's generally advised that study help should be focused on giving people gentle nudges in the right direction until they get the answers themselves.

Ahh, I understand. However, I already knew the answer to the question( as I said) I just wanted a method so I could see what happened because I didn't understand why that was the answer. Surely, that's fine?

Yeah, I would think it's fine. I just sort of reacted instinctively when I saw all that working...
10. I only gave the full answer as the OP said they had the answer, hence the 'just to clarify'. Sorry for causing an uproar xD

LOL. It wasn't your fault; I didn't read the thing properly and just went 'workings!' and posted saying you're not allowed to give full workings. It's no issue.

Also, I'm not a moderator so you're in the clear. xD
