I swear I must be the most indecisive person in history. I have changed my mind so many times in terms of what career I'd like to go into, so I'm hoping I finally stick to what's appealing at the moment. Are you certain on what you'd like to do? If so, what is it? To those already in a full time job, is it what you hoped to do for a while?

I know I want to get into the law profession. Either solicitor or Barrister. Barrister is the preferred choice.

I've been set on becoming a barrister for a couple of years now, and hopefully I'll be successful - but as pupillages are so ridiculously competitive, I may opt to become a solicitor instead. Either way, I'll be a lawyer.

Edit, February 2017 - I just randomly re-encountered this and thought it funny how far I was from reality, having dropped my law degree two weeks into the course...

i think i might be indecisive too

Same here. It looks ridiculously competitive I don't know how I'd ever get there.

City solicitor looks the most likely outcome for me at this point.

I haven't completely ruled out the civil service/accountancy/consultancy, though.

I think it's best to have a few ideas but not limit yourself to one. If Plan A doesn't work out, you'll need a Plan B. Or maybe C.

Well, I did my A Levels in ICT and while I've changed my career course a few times it's always been computer based, got a couple of ideas of where I want to go next, one would be sitting in front of a laptop still whereas the other would be well away from computers.

I will never be bound to one job/career.
    ever.

I will be bouncing around here and there
because I have so much planned in careers.
