So my choices are:
A Level Maths
A Level Geography
A Level Sociology
A Level Economics
So my school is linked with 3 other schools, to make the Sixth form called IC6. At my school, when I began Economics, the teacher stated that I'd have to take this subject for 2 years (I can't drop it at the end of year 12 because the school wouldn't fund for AS exams). I was hoping to actually study a business A Level till the end of year 12, so that I'd drop it afterwards.
If I switch Economics with Business Studies A Level, I'd have the opportunity to do it only as an AS (I'd be able to take the AS exams in year 12); this is because I'd be studying business at another IC6 school that can fund the AS exams.
I'm planning on switching Economics to Business Studies, to have an AS qualification.
Do you think this is a good idea?
Please do not judge my choices negatively, and state things like 'ohhh don't! Economics is way better!' I'd like to re-consider the fact that most A Levels have changed their specs, meaning some of the subjects are slightly more difficult.
P.S My school is poor.
