    Hi!!
I'm currently in year 11, and I did early GCSE entry for Core Science. I got a D But I'm now doing Additional Science. If I do better in Additional will that bring up my D Grade? Also, If I get a C or above in Additional, will that count as the C in science that I need?

    Help would be much appreciated.
    Thank you.

No, as Core and Additional are two separate GCSEs (Unless you are doing triple science, so you get a grade for each science instead). They do not effect each other. It would depend on what you need the C for, but I think most places want it to be in Core Science.
