How likely would I be to get into Bristol for English?

I've recently become interested in Bristol, but I'm not really aware of how competitive it is or anything.
I got 4A*,4A and 2B at GCSE's. 4 A's at AS level and I'm predicted 4 A* at A2.

Will my GCSE's be good enough to get me a place?

I don't know anything specific to Bristol's English department but your grades are excellent and you look like you're a very strong applicant so far. You may be interested in the English department's admissions statement, which says exactly what they're looking for and how they assess your application. In particular, I noticed that they put a 70% weighting on your personal statement and reference and only a 30% weighting on your grades, so definitely make sure that you try to make your personal statement as good as you possibly can!

If you meet the academic entry requirements and can write a sensible PS with some sensible thoughts about why you want to study English Lit for 3 years then you stand as good a chance as anyone else.
