Basically I did study in 2011/12 and I had medical problems and was under stress. I finished the foundation degree and took the year out as I was under pressure from health issues as I had to visit my specialist every 3 months. I failed final exams because of being under prepared due the lingering health issue. I despised going to see the doctor but had no choice. I was then told in 2012 it might be a lifetime problem. So I didn't go back to my old uni. I thought taking the break will do me good. I then reapplied to another uni for different degree and the funding was approved, however the foundation went well and the 1st year I was a few credits short so now the uni want me to repeat those credits. I can't get finance because of the 11/12 year. However I spoke to the student union and they said if you have compelling reasons you could have that year re-instated. My doctor said she will draft the letter of what was happening during that period, so is that enough evidence?
I am stuck because I cant fund the repeat and will only get the final 2 years of degree.
