Hi, I want to be seen as being more interested in Geography as that's what I want to study at university. I'd like to get a little ahead and read some books based around what I'll be studying but I'm not sure which books are best to read at undergraduate level whilst still studying Alevels (year 13).
So far I can only find the Oxford reading list for Geography (my grades aren't high enough to apply here- I was thinking maybe Lancaster or Nottingham), should I pick a book from the Oxford reading list or are there any other accessible reading lists? I need this for my personal statement as otherwise I haven't done much specifically to show my interest in geography. Also is it best to pick a general book or one specifically for human or physical geography as I can't decide between the two.

Just because it's the Oxford reading list doesn't mean that it won't be accessible. Look at the unis you are interested in applying to and see if their reading lists are made public
