hi guys i'm nearly 18 and have been studying politics , business and history at a level however I have decided that as much as I enjoy these subjects I want a career that will be more hands on and give me opportunities to travel and have a vast range of experiences. while browsing the army jobs page I came across the " aircraft mechanical engineer" part of the reme and my question preferable to people with experience in the reme or armed services do I need any previous mechanical experience as I currently have none however I am massively interested in making a change and moving towards a more hands on trade based work and advice or help would be appreciated, I defo want to finish college first but after im extremely interested in engineering even though I have no previous knowledge or experience

If you've looked at the page then you'll have seen it says, under qualifications you need to have:

"Qualifications: GCSE grade C in Maths, Science and English Language"

Those are the only educational prerequisites.

No, you don't. You'll be taught everything you need to know.
