I've never been too keen on them, they look good when you're younger, like a small butterfly or fairy one, but when you get older, i don't think they look as nice.

You can get those tatoos that last for about 4-5 years, that way if you don't like it, it does fade away...

think seriously before geting one! I regret mine... wish it was both a different design and different colour!

It cost me 50 quid to get it done but got a quote the other month from a laser specialist telling me that it would cost 1500 to remove - if I'm lucky .

Make sure you think carefuly about it!!

a girl in my school has an amazing one on the base of her spine, its just a big floraly style pattern thing, it was in neon colours to begin with but its fading a bit now, looked really nice though

I would really like a white or cyan one - they're really delicate and pretty, and aren't super noticable at first which is nicer. Mine's on my back, and I'm contsantly worried about people seeing it and thinking less of me... I've done a lot of changing/growing up since I had it done lol

Youre blatently only wanting one because you think its cool, which is why you dont have any ideas about designs etc. And now youre just sifting through some online picture gallery looking for one you like - this isnt the way it should be

MANY online galleries actually, i do know what i want and its a tasteful, dateless design, i want a tattoo that is individual to me, hence the reason why i dont want a devil or something **** like that

Loads of people have butterflies and dolphins and little simbas and crap like that, the designs you're posting are just as hackneyed as the devils, if not more!

If you want one individual to you, don't browse an online gallery, draw (or get someone to draw) your own, unique design.

I hope you like it if you get it done, and continue to like it as you get older!

    Good luck
