So I got a low A in AS (164 UMS) and I am trying to aim for an A* I'm willing to resit my coursework as that what brought my grade down got (54 which was a high C) but my teacher said that it is impossible to get an A* because A2 is hard and if you wanted to achieve it you will have to resit both your exam and coursework but I got 109/120 UMS in my exam and I honestly don't think I will get any higher and quite frankly I am really proud of that result.
So does anyone who did get an A* or did english language A2 have any tips on how to get an A* and how can I get a higher grade on my coursework bc that always lets me down!! Thank you

Hello, to get an A* for A Level you need a 90% average on your A2 units, and 80% overall in your A level. That means with your A in AS you do not need to retake any AS units, you just need to gain 90% in your A2 Units.

Hi, I know that already but it's just the way he said it's impossible to get an A* made it seem as if the grading system may have been different in english but thanks for reassuring me ( I really didn't want to re sit my coursework anyway)
