    It seems really basic but I'm a terrible mathematician and i haven't done maths since GCSE, I'm clueless and i need to make H2 the subject could somebody please give me a step by step guide in order to refresh my memory & hopefully understand it

    Divide the left hand side and the right hand side by k(no)^2. So it will cancel out on the right, and on the left side you will get a fraction.

    Just divide both sides of the equation by k[NO]^2

    You don't need to take any square-roots because the H2 isn't squared.
    The NO on the bottom of your faction should still be squared.
