Hi wondering if anyone can help ? . My son is 17 and had been for his army medical and has had a defurel due to his peek flow , we have seen seen several doctors and medical people regarding this matter , my sons doctor has stated there is no medical reason why my son cannot join the army as he is physically fit and very health , the problem is he technique with the peek flow , as the doctor has stated some people just cannot use the machin and gives an incorrect reading due to tecnique , my son has been training for last 18 months to joint the army and is now feeling like his dreams are shatterd can anyone help ?

You must enclose a letter written by you explaining the reason for the appeal. This must be accompanied by a letter from the Applicant’s GP or specialist confirming the diagnosis and including any additional medical evidence not previously available to support the Applicant’s claim. The medical team will then carryout a review of the medical evidence and a decision will be made which will be notified to you directly.

Please include your Full Name, DOB and if you have it your 13 Digit Unique Reference Number.

To help you win this appeal provide as much information as possible:If you have been away with the Army provide the report that was written about you, if you belong to clubs or sport teams include reports from them. (It all helps build up a picture for you)

Every 28 days the appellant is to be informed in writing as to what is happening with the appeal.
