History and Politics/Sociology at Warwick

Hello Everyone,

I'm hoping to apply to Warwick to study History and Politics /Sociology. I attained ABB and hopefully a re-mark will get it to AAB. I was going to apply to Oxford but didn't achieve my predictions of AAA so I'm really gutted!!

I really love these two disciplines which I believe work soo well together! I particularly love the emphasis on Renaissance history which is my favourite event! I come from a below average performing school in a relatively deprived area so my passion for education developed because of my experience of education and is the reason I'm applying for this course. I'm also the Deputy Member for UK Youth Parliament for Ipswich.

I wanted to know how well regarded is a degree in History and Politics/ Sociology? Is Warwick ranked high in History andPolitics? What will this degree lead me into? I know I would like to work in the education sector having influence on education policies, but what other things can I go into with this degree??
What have current graduates from Warwick done with this degree?
