VM343 - Motion on Rail Re-openings, The Hon. Barnetlad MP
    Motion on rail re-openings
This House notes the reopening of the rail line from Edinburgh to the Scottish Border towns of Galashiels and Tweedbank. This House believes that other rail line reopenings should be supported, to increase job opportunities for those without a car, provide rail service resilience and bring visitors to the communities concerned.

This House wishes to see included in those considered by Network Rail the second route to Cornwall, the Oxford-Cambridge route, the link to the community of Skelmersdale in Lancashire, and the Lewes-Uckfield link in Sussex.

Speaker's Note: It looks like this poll may have become multiple choice! Please can MPs use their one vote as normal - multiple votes by one user will be removed.

    Ayes to the right: 23
    Noes to the left: 12
    Abstain: 11

The Ayes have it! The Ayes have it. Unlock.

    Turnout: 88%

NB. Despite multiple votes being cast by one user, I will announce the result as is, since there are more Ayes than Noes even removing these multiple votes.
