Excuse me if i'm doing this wrong, I'm new to TSR
I applied to Hamleys over a year ago and got a surprise phone interview a few days ago, didn't go too great as it was completely unexpected (I'd forgotten I even applied!), it's for Terminal 2's new store at Heathrow.
I've been called for a group interview in a few days, does anyone know what it consists of and what I should be expecting?
No dress code written on the email so any help regarding that or any other advice also much appreciated this will be my first group interview

What kind of questions did they ask/what did you have to do at the group interview?
Also what was the dress code? And where was your interview held?

On the phone interview which I only remember vaguely I was asked questions like... How do you feel you can contribute to the magic of Hamleys? Tell us about an experience where you provided excellent customer service? As I mentioned i was not prepared at all, they are looking for confidence in your response and friendliness.
The group interview which was held in Central London, was great and really fun! In my group there were only 4 people, other groups before/after us had more. We did some activities like;
- Pick any toy of choices given, then try to sell it, pretty much just read the specs and be really enthusiastic!
- Pick a card at random which could have any topic (your fave childhood toy, chocolate or cheese) and you have to talk about it for a minute.
- Finally a mini roleplay we had to make based on the random cards we picked.
Dresscode I would say is Smart/smart casual.
Just need to be enthusiastic and bring your sense of fun! Hope this helped
