He's far too left wing for me. But perhaps it'll make the Scots less likely to want to leave the UK - every cloud has a silver lining!

    Marginally.

The Scotland is issue is much more about north-south issues. Scotland with oil has a GVA of around 120% and yet HS2 stops at Leeds, the Olympics got a blank cheque while the Commonwealth Games came out of the Scottish pocket ect... This has been the case for decades.

Basically they feel aggrieved that Westminster focuses on London at their expense although there is definitely a part of the left who despite being 'international socialists' wish to rip the country apart.

    Very biased language.
Again, i'm sure many want independence because they don't like being ruled from Westminster - not because they want to 'rip the country apart'. When you have such negative opinions and use such language towards them, all it does is make them detest English politics more.

One group who will be delighted is the BBC.

For reasons that are not clear, Corbyn wants to pick a fight with the BBC. He has snubbed Laura Kuenssberg and Andrew Marr already.

That will get the Conservatives off their back and get their charter renewal.
