    Hi,

i am taking my UKCAT next week friday and most of the parts are fine but i have problems with the Abstract reasoning. To be honest i have always had problems with this sort of Tasks. Can anyone give me tips? and in which way do you have to look at the pattern from left to right or first line and then the second? Thank you already.

P.S If there are any grammtical mistakes, i`m sorry i`m german

This sounds so patronising and cliche but honestly practise, you just learn to recognise the patterns after a while. Perhaps write down common ones?

could you explain what you mean by look at first line or second? there are no lines...

there are two sets. look at both sets separately, and if you cant find any similaritys within the set, compare the two.

    when is your exam?
have you looked at the practise tests on the ukcat website?
    its free and helps loads.

Hey, my UKCAT's on 3rd. I went on the Kaplan course and one thing that has really helped me is describing the box out loud to myself using SCANS. That way you don't miss the obvious patterns. Hope I helped. Best of luck.
