"Good afternoon, We are currently unable to provide a time-scale for this. Manpower are behind the original time-frame of 20 days so this may take longer. Please continue to check the civil service jobs site and your e-mail for any correspondence. Ensure you check the junk mail folder to avoid missing any prompts."just received that, not entirely sure what any of it means. 20 days behind expected start? 20 day backlog on checks?

I think the 20 days was for how long the dbs was supposed to take from us consenting for it to be done. Basically 20 working days from accepting the provisional offer.

I received a provisional offer for an O grade role on 16th August on the back of TSP 2016 and have heard nothing either:frown:

So frustrating isn't it! Are you waiting on Liverpool too?

I wouldn't worry too much, I'm in the same boat but Manchester. Haven't heard since 24th August. I also emailed them on 29th September and haven't had a reply yet.

Just really hope we hear soon!

Has anyone who has sent their DBS off the past few weeks heard anything? The sadness is real

Out of interest, of those who got to the assessment centre for TSP 2016 but fell short, have there been any HO offers or is it just O grade?

Me and the guy I'm sat next to both got offered HO roles after the assessment centre, he was on the tsp reserve list and I was just unsucessful.

Everyone prepare yourselves for the E-Learning because if your roles anything like mine there is absolutely loads of it!

When did you fill out the DBS part online?

Does anyone reckon it's worth getting in touch with the dbs service to see if they can provide any info? I know if you have an application ref then you can ask for updates on your dbs but I was never given one

They can tell you if the have an application under your name, postcode and date of birth. I filled in 'next stage' for one of my applications on 11/9 but they never had anything for me when I checked. For another campaign I received a link and code through from manpower on Tuesday and can track it with DBS already.

Yeah give them a call all you need is your name and the employers name.

Once hmrc request a DBS for you it shouldn't take too long so I'm assuming the longest part is them actually requesting the DBS
Anyone else that was offered band O roles in London heard anything back? Pre employment checks completed at least?

Same here. Filled in the health declaration Monday last week and still haven't heard from them. I'm band O in London too.

I have just called DBS and they don't have an application under my name. HMRC is really taking their time with that... this is pathetic now
