These are statistics of grades me and my friends acheived
Me: GCSE: A; AS: B
Friend: GCSE: A*; AS: C (semi-incompetent)
Friend 1: GCSE: A*; AS: B (decent student)
Friend 2: GCSE: N/A; AS: B (He's from a french-speaking country. Made fun of him cause he had an advantage and didnt even get an A)
Friend 3: GCSE: A; AS: D (incompetent student)
Friend 4: GCSE: B; AS: D (weird student. Her hard work meant ****)
So it goes to show that even an A* in Languages or semi-fluency, doesn't guarantee an A.

English is my third language. I sat AS for my other two languages and I got a B (funnily enough I missed an A in both for 1 bloody UMS). Btw I got A* in them in GCSEs.
