    I think that prostitution, in probably 95% of cases is not an occupation of choice for the women involved. It saddens me to see a woman standing on a street corner, or in a legalised zone for that matter, in such reduced circumstances. Prostitutes, in my opinion, will always be stigmatised and are a symbol of the failures of this society.

    Only a small minority of women could possibly want to be prostitutes, and they are most likely to be part of the illegal, high-level prostitute rings run for celebrities and acclaimed professionals. Such prostitution (for obvious reasons) will always take place behind closed doors. To me - green light districts will represent a group of women on the margins of society, who are being exploited.
