Hi, I've just started my AS levels and I'm doing English Literature, History, Performing Arts and Sociology. I adore the first three subjects but I never wanted to do Sociology in the first place - I was pushed into it because my school wouldnt let me do Spanish. Long story short, it's only been a week but I already hate it - it's incredibly easy and I struggle to even pay attention in class because it's such a dozy subject. However I'm worried that if I only do 3 AS levels (one of which is Performing Arts which I know gets a bad reputation), will it affect my uni choices? I want to do either Law or English and Linguistics.

No, you have nothing to worry about, universities only want 3 AS and A-Levels.

I did 4 AS levels and failed one, so I wish that I only did 3 in the first place.

No, unless your uni requires that you have 3 with a pass in the 4th (there are very few who ask this).
