Could I be pregnant? watch

Me and my partner always use protection (the Extra Safe Durex condoms to be exact, as they are always on offer) but a weird thing happened this month.

My period came on time - well, my cycle is anywhere between 30-40 days long so yknow - but it was different to normal. I usually bleed for 5-6 days, really heavy for the first 2 or 3 then it tapers off quickly. Bright red blood that gets darker as it goes on.

This time was only 48 hours long, with only a little bit heavy bleeding for a few hours on the first day (nowhere near as heavy as normal). It was all dark brown and it reduced drastically on the second day until it was more or less done then I've just had a bit of brown discharge today.

My periods have always been exactly the same since I started 7 years ago so it's surprised me a bit.

Any suggestions? Bit worried it's breakthrough/implantation bleeding! Now is not a good time to be pregnant...

It's unlikely to be implantation bleeding from that description, but if you want to know, it's testing time.

Supermarket own-brand tests tend to be a lot cheaper than the major names and are just as reliable.
