So...I'm about to start a masters at a pretty good uni that apparently has a really good social scene...I want to go to a few freshers events because the uni where I did my undergrad at was terrible for this kind of thing....I'm 24, will other students think of it as weird that I'm getting pissed with all the freshers or will it be cool? I don't care what people think that much but thought I'd see what you guys thought anyway...

    Thanks guys!

I doubt anyone will notice your age and all students are welcome at Freshers' Week!

Your PG mates might want to go out too?

Go for it. Next week I'll be a fresher at 25, I'm not fussed... I already have a few friends in my social circle who are 18-19. You'll be fine! ^_^

Nope, no one will think it weird at all.

As said above, it might well be that some of your fellow post-grads are up for going out as well, but even if not, no one would be bothered. There's the usual 'Where are you from, what are you studying, where are you living questions', you can just say what your course is, that'll be it. Everyone will be far too focused on socialising, getting drunk and partying to even consider it!

You might find there are some freshers events specifically for postgrads.
