    yeah i like integrated tanx to sec^2 x n **** like that.....didnt do 1...did question 3......kinda ****ed up 7......and didnt get enough time for last part of 8.......

    i did 2,3,5,6 and 8
    1 i have no idea what do to so i left it blank
    2) all was good
    3 all was fine i think!
    4 hard i tried it but i kno its wrong so ill ge some marks
    5 was fine straightforward
    6 all was okay
    7 huh????? i did part b but i kno its wrong but i should get some marks out of 7
    8 i did all except the last part fine. i attempted the last bit but eh?

    anyone else??

    Yay me!
    I did okay.
    Almost answered 8 with fractions with 7 digit denominators to begin with....
    But mostly, they were totally fine.
    I may just have passed it!

    1) i took a stab at random things, hoping to pick up at least a mark
    2) Can't remember what it was
    3) Again, ermm....
    4) Totally nailed it with random maths (no idea what i did, but got the answer)
    5) Can't remember again
    6) Couldn't do one part of it (getting tant+t from the two equations)
    7) I can't remember it
    8) Yay me.... first time, as i said, total mess up, but second time, nailed it!

    i hate edexcel i got 2,3,4,5,6 and maybe some marks for 7 and 8 but ran out of time! i thought it would be like the past papers but this was actually HARD! I'm feeling pretty p'd off at the moment and feel i could have done better

    not too bad overall...
    Ques 6 where u had to show tant + t etc why were their limits different to the ones given with the parametric eqns? one was pi/2 and they had pi/3 or vice versa.

    i thought the 1st ques was supoosed to b easy then i couldnt do it!

    2) The what?
    3) Way too easy
    5) I didn't have a clue how you would expand a fraction in that form to ascending powers.
    6) Ermm.... still don't remember
    7) I think i got it, although i probably got it wrong, as my answers went way over 4.

    first question was chain rule, setting whats in the ln to t then differentiating y=lnt.

    still took longer than i would have liked for q1, was only 3 marks i think.

    connected rates of change part b was tricky, couldnt get it into the form A= just the form A^-1/2 = 1/t^2 +1 or something

    couldnt do 8d, can never get my head rount vector questions that require you to think, was only 4 marks anyway.

    Answers ( pretty sure they are rite )

    1) proving was easy
    2) cant remember the third factor but one was 0 and the other was -2
    3)dont remember the question was
    4)easy **** proof .. just had to take (1+sinx)^6 common
    5) 2 - x +11x^2
    6) 6ln2 + (pi^2/3)
    7) 4t^2/(t+1)^2
    8) dont remember the last part but alpha was -3 and T was 3 or -3 (one of em .. i have a sucky short term memory )

    question 6 they gave us two parametric equations, asked us to find a, then to prove that the integral was something and then integrate it, was good i think

    P3 was welllllllll hard! some of the questions were well dodgy like the very last vector one... how were u meant 2 do dat???

    Question one was dodgy, so was dat 8 mark integration one. I totally screwed it up first time round cos i sed dat u=sinx instead of u=sin x + 1 but tried it a second time and got about half way.

    question 7 was dodgy as well. I cudn't rearrange A in terms of t properly so dat means i got da very last part wrong as well.
    I cudn;t even show da bludy area of R eitha...

    therz at least a gud 15-20 marks there, so i'm basically screwed. No chance of an A now unless they lower the boundary by a considerably amount...
