Answers ( pretty sure they are rite )

2) cant remember the third factor but one was 0 and the other was -2
3)dont remember the question was
4)easy **** proof .. just had to take (1+sinx)^6 common
5) 2 - x +11x^2
6) 6ln2 + (pi^2/3)
7) 4t^2/(t+1)^2
8) dont remember the last part but alpha was -3 and T was 3 or -3 (one of em .. i have a sucky short term memory )
i couldnt prove!!
and questions 4 was annoying, coz u have cosx in there... what did u make cosx to be?
2. (Original post by kriztinae)
question 6 they gave us two parametric equations, asked us to find a, then to prove that the integral was something and then integrate it, was good i think
can u remember ur answer, after integrating?

Oh, okay.
I'm a bit confused.

for question 6? i think i got 18 - (pi)squared /3
i think
8. on that thing with the sin^6 and stuff, did anyone else spot a mistake, or was that me missing something?

that questions confused the **** out of me!
argg i did it but i know its wrong!
11. I couldn't do it i don't think, had to look like i knew what i was doing lol

Does anyone think they did really well?

Do ya think they will lower the grade boundaries from 51 or summat like it was last year, cos it was so damn harder.

Shoot...... i realised that i thought there was a mistake, but there wasn't, as i compensated for it, and got the right answer.
sorry, i think these drugs are having a bad effect on me.
13. hang on is that answer for the integration rite?

cos i got someting similar but mine was 18 - pi squared / 9?

cos i thought u had pi /3 then had to square the whole ting rite????

I'm almost certain about half of the marks, and hopeful of about another quarter.
16. I got summat like 12root3 on that :O

oh well just retake a nice P3 paper sumtime lol

They show what grade you get, basically.
The number of points needed for an A,B,C,D etc.
If everyone does badly, then the exam was too hard, and the grade boundaries get lowered, allowing a certain percentage of people to get each grade (or something like that).
And it applies to the paper, wherever you take it.

The grade boundary will be the same for all countries. The grade boundaries are just the number of marks you have to get to obtain particular grades. The amount of marks out of 75 you need to get an A grade changes every year to compensate for the varying difficulty of the papers.
19. (Original post by kriztinae)
how did u answer the first question?
the derivatives ****?
I used formula book.
20. I found that paper really hard. However i did manage atleast 1/2 the paper knowing what i was doing was correct, the rest i am not sure???

I would expect the grade boundaries to be even lower than last years, whatever they were? It was harder than that paper for sure!
