Any math AND econs students in LSE now?

Hi all!

I'm an IB student (graduate) planning to apply to LSE Math and Econs for entry in 2016. Was wondering if there are any (potential) seniors here who can share what their experience has been like thus far?

For instance
1. How are the modules usually taught? Is there a lot of independent study involved?
2. Are the two subjects studied independently, or are there modules that bridge and make clear the connection between them?
3. Under M&E, how much freedom is there for students to take optional modules and widen their understanding (i.e. pursue some other interests like government, history modules?)

Sorry if some of these questions come across as rather ignorant! Thanks in advance :smile:
