Hi, I'm new to all this so I don't even know if this is the right place to be posting this(sorry if it isn't !) I'm 15 and I want to be a pe teacher. I have looked into University courses but I'm still a bit unsure, what course do I need to do in order to be qualified in sports and be able to teach in Secondary school. I don't want to do a 3 year course followed by a postgraduate year getting my PGCE. I know there are some 4 year courses which offer placements and work experience but I was wondering if anyone could give me a more detailed answer or had any suggestions?

Your best bet would be to look up Secondary Physical Education courses with QTS:

From a quick check, it might be worth looking further into:

    Brunel:
    http://www.brunel.ac.uk/services/pcc...cation-and-p.e.

    Bedfordshire:
    http://www.beds.ac.uk/howtoapply/cou...tion-secondary

    Brighton:
    https://www.brighton.ac.uk/courses/s...-with-qts.aspx

But I'm sure there are others out there too. But if you have a read of those, hopefully that will give you a starting point into whether any of those would be something you're interested in.

Thank you. This is definitely helpful! This was the sort of thing I was looking for and Brunel was one of my favourites already
