Wanting to apply for maths at uni and can't decide between the two. The unis I've been to say it's easy enough to change once you're there so in a way it doesn't matter but would you have more chance getting on one than the other? The entry requirements are pretty much the same at unis I've look at (apart from Sheffield where BSc is AAB and MMath is AAA, but they do say if you just miss the requirements of your MMath offer they can drop you down to the BSc). I was just wondering...

It makes no difference what you apply for in the majority of cases. It normally doesn't matter if you apply for BSc or MMath as they should be part of the same numbers quota. It can just make funding easier if you apply to do MMath rather than BSc in the first instance if you do decide to do the extra year.
