Arm implant and marina coil help please!? watch

    • Thread Starter

Hey, I'm 18 years old and lost my virginity to my first boyfriend who is 20 (after dating for 2 months) in June 2015 so I am still fairly new to the whole sex thing (he is too) and he has been in China for the past three months as he is Chinese and found his father was ill, he needed to go and help his parents. He will return on September 19th 2015 and I'll spend 4 days with him on September 24th.

We agreed while he was away I would get contraception and let the three months give me time to see how my body deals with it. My first option was the arm implant, I got that in July 26th, my boyfriend was never 100% happy with me getting it because it's a hormone injection. After two months I have had serious mood swings, irregular periods that are lasting 3 weeks and only have 2-3 days spacing between start and finish.

I got given the combined pill and it hasn't done anything, I've have been advised by my boyfriend and mum to get it removed. I'm going to get the marina coil instead. I would like to know if I can get the arm implant removed and marina coil inserted on the same day, as I do have plans with my boyfriend given has been away for 3 months.mwe have both been tested (even tho we were both virgins) just to be safe. I would like to know, please don't judge me badly for this, if it's still safe to have sex without a condom and if he was to ejaculate inside me (didn't take it out in time or something) if I would have a risk of getting pregnant. I have done research but personal experience would be nice too. Any advise given is really appreciated. Thank you!
