I'm doing AS G&P, it's been a week and I love it already. The only problem is that because of my anxiety + panic attacks I've missed two lessons already. I was wondering if anyone can help me out with the following ideas? Just a simple definition, maybe some pros or cons? Hope everyone is still alive after the first week back at school!

    - Pluralism
    - partisan
    - pressure groups
    - devolution
    - human rights act

Even one of these would be helpful - I'm struggling to find some decent help anywhere else, and I'm terrified of falling behind after a week!

I've just started G&P and I'm really liking it already, too! I have some definitions:

Pluralism: rule by the many with diverse centres of power. (The opposite of elitism, i.e. not ruled just by people who have been to private school and then Oxbridge.)

Pressure groups: organisations that influence the outcome of an election without being directly political (if that makes sense?). Examples could be WWF, Greenpeace, etc.

I hope these help, we haven't covered your other terms yet!

(P.S.: Sorry to hear about you missing lessons. I have had anxiety problems too in the past so I understand how you feel. )
