question for you...

So i need some opinions...

If you were with someone, and then you fell in love with somebody else and fell hard for them, do you think that you can ever love the first person as much, and it ever be the same again? Do you even think that you could have truly loved them in the first place if you fell for somebody else?

I mean, basically if you were with person A, then did stupid things and fell for person B hard, and knew they fell for you back and then you decide to cut things off with person B to be with person A, will you ever truly have what you had before or will whatever was missing in the first place always be missing? If you still have feelings for person B deep down as well.

Does this make any sense hehe, any views welcome!!

woah - talk about comlicated situation!

hmm ... in my opinion - i don't think you could possibly love A as much as you would like to - coz you can't just forcefully stop yourself from loving B - and tell yourself that you should love A more than B - you will always have that inkling of a feeling for B deep down when you are with A -

now did I make sense? :p:

Many novels, movies and TV dramas have been based around this exact question.

Personally, I do not know. I've never been in such a position and I'm knowing enough to realise how much influence your emotions can have on your actions.

I'd like to think I would stay with person A. If I couldn't control how I felt, I would probably have to cut my losses, do the right thing and break up with A and perhaps establish myself with B.
