I am currently struggling to find some sort of structure for my personal statement, I want to apply to do Middle Eastern Studies (Arabic) at Cambridge and PPE/Politics Philosophy everywhere else. I am struggling to balance these two, although my interest in the Middle East is motivated by my political interests. I'm also going to re-sit Maths and sit GCSE Arabic this year, so I was wondering how I would put that in because PPE units don't need Arabic, and MES doesn't need me to re-sit Maths (I got a B at GCSE). I also don't know how I'm going to fit the Economics aspect with the Middle East, even though I would specialise in Politics and Philosophy at PPE level. Would appreciate any advice on structure

You can't really write a PS for both of those courses... Why not apply for either PPE or Middle Eastern Studies (or something with a similar name)?

agreed, it's gonna be really hard to find common ground in your PS. Only 50% of the PS will be relevant to each uni, you'd be wasting characters. Maybe consider one and then do the others as a master's degree or something.

    Good luck
