The only real health issue I've heard is about not wearing an underwired bra in bed as it can squash your lymph vessels and prevent the "clearing out" mechanism, which can increase your risk of breast cancer. But the evidence is just that - evidence - and I don't think they've definitely proved a causal link, but the science seems pretty sound to me. In terms of daytime wear, the vast majority of women wear bras so clearly it cannot significantly increase your chance of breast cancer or we would all be at more risk. I personally think as long as you give your boobs a break at night it's worth wearing a bra not to get saggy boobs the second you hit 30.

Out of all the things that can be good/bad 4 health, u ask if a bra affects health?!

The two buns that dangle out from the girl r cushioned by the pads, which hardly is hazardous to health ...

i know it supports breats, so should be good, but surely not wearing one would be more natural and hence healthier?

What is 'natural'? To live in caves with no medicine or government?
What is 'healthier'?

These are big questions.

I always wear a Bra in the daytime. But never at night.

bras just try work against gravity to prevent sagging. They are not good or bad for the breasts. They just help try prevent the inevitable from happening.

Bras however are bad for the back. I always loosen/unclip mine at night as there is no gravity acting on your breasts when your lying down.

Do u wear a bra in bed ?

If the answer is yes, you shouldn't. Read my post above

Reply 12

Oh :frown: But i find it really uncomfortable not to wear a bra! They flop all over the place :frown: Gravity is still at work, unless you lie on your back. I don't.

yeah i wear a bra in bed cause i can't be arsed to take it off properly so just unclip instead. Also means in the morning I can just clip it together again ...and off I go.
