Foods that make you grow taller

In larger amounts or in combination with other foods, are there any foods or prescription stuff that can make you grow taller? Because I think that I'm still growing but my parents don't and they say that by eating lots of everything, no junk though, should make you grow taller! Except this doesn't really help me and I don't have a large appetite either. So are there any particular foods or supplements, not hormones or drugs, that have been scientifically proven or otherwise, to make one grow taller! I don't care if it tastes tasteless like lettuce or like rabbits food or whatever, as long as it's better tasting than vodka and the polio droplet, which taste like hell! I'm about 5ft 9" atm but want to be about 2-2.5 inches taller because I'd love to be tall but for many other reasons too! Please help me!xXx

FFS, you're far taller than average already. That means that you're tall. Chances are, you're not going to grow any more, because you're already very tall for a woman.

Tall Juice from ASDA. Just remember it contains a source of Phenylalanine.

Not really, well I don't think I am. And I have this feeling that if I had stopped growing, I'd know- is kind of hard to explain. *Sigh*. I was worried about this. Please, I don't want any comments on me being quite tall already and taller than average and others etc etc. I know but I want to be taller! Nothing wrong with that! It's not like I'm asking and seriously expecting to become 6ft 3" or something!:p:

What does Phenylalanine do then? Tall Juice? Really? Are you being serious? Have never heard of it beofre, mind you, I haven;t been to ASDA much!:p: Does it work and why? What's the catch? Do you use it?

Yes, you think that and are happy with your height, which is good for you, but I don't think that and I am not happy with my height atm.

The average woman in England is 5'4.5", I believe... making you 4.5" inches taller than average. Out of interest, what would you consider tall, if not 5'9"? What would you consider medium? Or short? You must think I'm a midget, at 5'2".

You see, most short people find it rather annoying when tall people complain that they're not tall enough. It's like when a size 6 person asks how to lose weight, or when someone with DD-cups asks how to increase their bust...

I think that tall is 5 ft 11 or 10. I think that very tall is 6 ft 1" or 6 ft and above. For medium, 5ft 7"-5ft 9". or possibly from 5ft 6". For normal, 5ft 5" to 5ft 8", and for short 5ft 4" and below. But then again that's my opinion and I'm rather unique I must assure you. I get your point and can see where you're coming from, but it's not annoying as me asking to change my bust size is it?!:p: PS I am very happy with my bust size. And also, I'd never call someone a midget or a bean sprout, giant or dwarf, because I think that's mean.

phenylanaline is an amino acid. I took its supplements last year and the effect is irreversible, I went from 5'6'' to 6'5'', my girlfriend says I'm like a lampost
Surely "normal" and "medium" are the same??!

Wow  I didn't think that stuff worked.
Phenylalanine is a hidden danger to anyone consuming aspartame. Most consumers don't know that too much Phenylalanine is a neurotoxin and excites the neurons in the brain to the point of cellular death.

ADD/ADHD, emotional and behavioral disorders can all be triggered by too much Phenylalanine in the daily diet. If you are one in ten thousand people who are PKU or carry the PKU gene, Phenylalanine can cause irreversible brain damage and death, especially when used in high quantities or during pregnancy. Phenylalanine is 50% of aspartame, and to the degree humans consume diet products, Phenylalanine levels are reaching a dangerous peak.

It is important to learn about the ingredients within your foods, especially isolated amino acids like Phenylalanine. They are in combination within nature for a reason - they don't belong in isolated form for the healthy human diet.

And I got all excited for a minute there.

So can it make you concentrate better too then? How do you know if you've got the PKU gene? Would a geneticist at the hospital tell you or what? What is considered as too much or high quantities? Would depression or anxiety disorders count as the emotional and behavioural disorders too?
