    What was the specific task you're asked to do? If it's to operationalise a hypothesis, that's not possible with 'Attitudes towards immigrants', because there is no hypothesis there.

    I'd guess that the aim is to come up with a hypothetical research question/hypothesis and how that could be operationalised. So e.g. a more specific research question could be effects of exposure to the 'immigrants' label (say by reading a couple of articles about immigrants?) on prejudice against immigrants, which could be measured using the Implicit Association Test as a DV.

    But from what you've written, it is not possible to operationalise that statement.
