i just realised how stupid my question was, and that was after i edited it from a stupider question because i didnt read your post properly.

its too early, lol.
i just applied 2 weeks ago, the ensuite rooms look nice.which room u goin for?

ooo fragile halo you'll be on my course if you make it in   enjoy your first year because you have so much free time,it's stupid, and then it's all over once 2nd year begins :frown: :bawling:

anyways i applied for large ensuite, ensuite studio, and the other one that says ensuite as well.i hate sharing bathrooms,as i know how bad they can get.

im exactly the opposite, i dont want an ensuite. ive heard about BGP that you need as much interaction as possible because you dont run into everyone as much as on catered halls. Plus, im used to sharing a bathroom with semi-strangers (im a sea cadet!) and dont mind doing it if it means im paying a bit less.

ive applied for a large standard, then just standard. i put ensuite as third choice anyway, and then university park standard. only because you have to put a minimum of 4 choices, lol.

best to get an ensuite and then share the kitchen.do you know how bad bathrooms can get?well..

i thought you had to apply for broadgate seperately and not through the uni?or is that just for notts students only?hmm
Reply 9
no, you apply for broadgate and the other self catered through the same accommodation forms as the catered halls, its all on one form on the nottingham hospitality website.

and yes i know how bad the bathrooms can get, i visited my ex boyfriends flat in BGP, but im really not that bothered. i dont mind giving it a quick clean, and the floors are cleaned in BGP anyway.
not over the weekend when everyone decides to get drunk and puke over the place...but that's just me i'm a neat freak.you should be fine

see thats actually something ill be worried about but ill get over...i hate vomit and i actually think im a bit phobic about it...but im just hedging my bets that ill get nice clean non-vomity people in my flat...or at least ones that clean it up
lol i have a thing for vomit as well...not nice ;no; i'm sure you'll be fine

i hope so, lol. i havent thrown up since i was really little, ive got a proper fear about it as well. its why i wont drink much either...but i suppose ill be getting over that pretty quickly at uni, lol.
i have a thing about throwing up as well, frightens the hell out of me. you should see the creative things people have done with vomit at uni, that's why i want my own bathroom.the thing is though the broadgate karni isn't as strong as those in halls,so you won't get as much parties etc,the best thing is to make friends with people in halls and go out with them

i did think of that but i think im going to be ok, i know a few girls at my college who want catered halls so im intending on staying mates with them, as well as the fact i already know some freshers from this year who i can hang out with if need be. but im also intending on joining URN and poss the sailing club...so ill def make outside of halls friends  (fingers crossed, ahem)
ah that's good  you sound like you're all sorted.what course?
