OK not to hijack the thread but Craig this evening? WTF? xx

Reply 381

yea, most of the tv reception is ok, especially in the newer blocks as I think most of them have TV socekts. Best bet is to just use limewire or Ares to download them

Reply 382

wouldn't limewire not work as the internet is provided by the uni and the uni blocked the port? and torrents are blocked as well (although you can get around this painfully slow).

Reply 383

there are certain programs that do still work, and failing that, you can stream them straight from place like youtube (although there are better places to stream them from) and although the internet can sometime be painfully slow (although I never had a problem) its still good enough for streaming

Reply 384

i know. i was just saying limewire wouldn't work

And yea, to mousey, random walking out of an exam for sex? appealing in principle, but definitely odd.

Sex with his gay best friend, no less

Will stop stealing the thread now, honest...

limewire does work but it is soooo slow.
alluc.org is a winner:wink:

Buy youself an account for approx £10 for 3 months at www.rapidshare.com.

Use warez-bb.org and other warez sites and you'll be downloading whatever you want at the speeds of your university LAN. My usual download speeds are 1-4MB a second.

Nothing will be blocked as you'll be downloading through port 80 (www).

Reply 394

You dont need that, the hub should be enough for anyones needs.

Where do you think the major contributors get their stuff?
anyways there should be no talk of the hub or rapidshare before that gets blocked as well or something.

No, it's been down for a while actually. What did you want to find out? maybe someone on here can help you.

Reply 398

i asked that question on facebook, its something to do with their server people saying they didnt pay, but they have, theyre just sorting it out

tbh i just like checking it to see what people are saying, not for anything specific, lol.

Same here, some people don't know TSR exists and just seeing if anyone else is staying in block/flat.
