Weird question - but do the washing machines in the laundry room go down to 30degrees? My home one has 40 as it's lowest and I have to handwash some of my favourite t-shirts. Do I need to add a bucket to my list of things to get?

If I live in Flat 24, Cedars; whats my full term time adress?

the washing machines in the laundrette are comercial ones, so the only settings are White, Colours and Delicates, you can't select your own temperature, so I would be prepared to wash your tshirts just to be on the safe side.
As for your full term time address, you'll get that when you move in, but if you need it now, it is something like this
Room no, Flat No, Block
Turnpike Lane/Salthouse Lane (depending on what side of BGP you are on - Turnpike lane if you are on the side with the reception block, Salthouse Lane if you are on the other side)
Broadgate Park
Beeston
Nottingham
NGxx xxx

How often do people randomly walk into our rooms to check to see if we are violating any rules? We are not allowed to have an iron right?

UPP never randomly walk into your room. The only time a member of UPP staff is allowed into your room is if you have given them permission, if there is some urgent work to do in there, or if UPP have legitimate grounds ot suspect that you are in breach of the terms and conditions of accomodation

Just wondering whether or not you're allowed an iron in your room at Broadgate, or if each flat comes with an iron and ironing board in the communal areas? Also, when UPP says 'fully fitted kitchen' just how fully fitted is that? Does it include items such as a toaster, microwave and kettle? Stupid questions but if anyone could answer them i'd be grateful.

it depends what category room you have. All flats have a microwave, cooker, over, fridge and freezer. I think only standard plus have iron, ironing board, kettle and toaster. You can have an iron in your room if you so desire

also, things like pots, pans and cuttlery and kitchen utensils are not provided by UPP

Thanks for the info dunkymunky! Argh, i'm in a single study flat which means i'll have to shell out and buy my own kettle and toaster...I can't believe UPP won't even provide that. Though the fact we're allowed to iron in our rooms (i'd heard we weren't) makes my clothes happy...
