they buggered up my application though coz i really wanted a studio room, with the kitchenette..and i applied on the 20th of december and she said she only downloaded it off the website at the end of jan :frown: so i missed out on what i wanted.
but yeh broadgate should be fun

Reply 47

i applied for the large ensuite studio in december too.

thats so annoying that she didnt download it! they should let you have it cos you applied so early

Reply 48

applications get messed up quite a lot apparently, my mates got messed up even though he applied quite early and in the end he got stuck in a random room on a corner with lots of chinese people on exchange.

i know.i told her,she was talking to me like i was lying.i got a large ensuite...i'll have to share a kitchen.shouldn't be too bad....i have to go back to pay a security deposit so i'll maybe talk to her then about it.i thought the security deposit was the £250?

Reply 50

It is the £250, unless she's talking about the first term's rent.

also, to all you people moving in in september, I suggest that you get to Broadgate on the Saturday, as close to 9am as you can, and be prepared to queue for up to 3 hours, thats how long its taken in te past 2 years

Reply 51

woohoo ive applied for a normal ensuite. dont need much space... those studios were huge!!! lmso

Well they probably do a good job considering that this year there are 2,064 people in residence on Broadgate Park. Getting keys and welcome packs to everyone, sorting out payments for those who haven't paid already etc is always going to be tight over two days.

Reply 58

i know...thats why i didnt slag them off :s-smilie:

Reply 59

yes, to get keys and sort out payments and stuff. The word incompetent (sp?) springs to mind...
