Well i'm currently studying biology, chemistry and maths at A2 level; for my as i got DDE. I wasn't too chuffed about these grades i got at as, especially after having to resit as after getting EEU the first time. I know these grades are really bad, but my reason being is because i was playing for fulham Academy and i honestly wasn't able to balance it out
However this year i picked up an injury in my knee that does not permit me to play for no longer than 45 minutes, so i quit. This time around im looking to give it my all because i haven't go football to eat up anymore of my time.

Obviously my predicted grades aren't gonna be that great. So im thinking of applying to these unis to study biomedical science:
    De montfort university
    Coventry university
    Hertfordshire university
    Westminster university
    Brunel university
    birkbeck uni
    Queen mary university

So what im asking for, is if someone can list them for me in order in terms of:
    How good the uni is?
    teaching standards?
    Employability standards?

And last but not least, is it bad if i end up going to a non-russel group uni.

    thanks in advance!

I'm not going to order them, but if you're interested in the most respected unis from what you've listed, I'd say Queen Mary's and Brunel.

I'd also like to say that just because you're going a Russel group does not mean that you're guaranteed a job, but your chances of getting an interview and whatnot but employers that care about university prestige would probably be significantly higher.

Which uni and what uni are quite good sites to look around in order to compare different courses from different unis!

Thank you so much for this.

But just one quick question... I compared brunel, de montford and queen mary, and de montfort happened to have the highest empoyability of 95%

It's so difficult defining which university is the best.

Of course there is the overall reputation, but then you have to consider the reputation of the particular subject you're applying for and how many people get employed from there, and DeMontford happens to outperform all the other university when it comes to employability.

If you're finding it hard to narrow down to five, perhaps look at their course structure, the independent study:lecture ratio and perhaps the social life if you're interested?

With these grades, I don't think you should go to uni. Try a vocational degree or sth else.
