Ok so I've been on the UCAS search tool and found my fav Unis that are doing my course but they have typical offers of AAB, but it also states that you can get in with 340 UCAS points.

I'm doing four A levels and I wanted to know if I get say BBBC that would amount to 380 UCAS points but would the third grade count seeing as they only wanted three A levels?

(It's probably a stupid question but the websites I've visited so far are unhelpful in their advice)

I would assume that unis asking for AAB or 340 points would only count 3 A-Levels. The reason they give the points offer is that they are saying A*BB is fine instead of AAB, not BBBC as that is quite a long way off the mark.
