Im only 17 but Ive never had a boyfriend (Im a girl, & straight). Its not that i havent been asked out, i have, many times, but i always say no because i want to be with one person only. Is this ideal realistic? Should i start dating?

Do what feels right for you, don't let anyone pressure you into dating if you aren't comfortable with the idea. If you go to uni you'll find yourself with a whole new group of people and have so many new experiences your ideal might change, even if you don't go to uni anything can happen, and 17 is very young. It's still ok to go on a date though, a date doesn't mean sex or a relationship, it's ok to go on one date and to never want to see that person again, and you never know you might even end up dating the one. It's not unrealistic, as long as it's what you want.
