I achieved:BBC in Biology, Chemistry and Maths respectively at A level. A in Business at AS level.

    At GCSE I achieved 1A* 5As and 4Bs.

I had originally wanted to do dentistry but I will no longer be able to do so. I then thought to do finance and go down the investment banking route, but have been told I have to go to a top uni e.g. LSE to be able to go down the investment banking route, and of course a top uni would require top GCSEs and top A Levels.

I shall be retaking quite a few modules this year to try and push for much higher grades, my school's average was very low as well, and hardly anyone did science.

I was wondering if anyone could give me advice on what I should do? If I somehow manage to get predicted A*AA should I still apply for finance at good universities?

    In a really tricky situation!
