Ok so i had been talking to this guy for about a month or so and we got on really well, could talk for hours and always have something to say and he always made me laugh. So we decided to meet up one night and go out for a drink, had a brilliant night and when i got home we were already talking about the next time we would do something. A week or so later we went out one day, spent the full day together and even in passing met his mum and dad. Everything seems like its going well right?
So even after this we were talking continuously and things were going really well. But ... then he turns round and says that he doesn't want to get into anything serious and doesn't want me to think that he was leading me on as he is so busy with his dissertation. Now I can totally understand that and would be willing to give him the time he needed ... but to turn around and say " I don't want you to think I was leading you on" kind of made me step back a bit.
Where would i go from here? He says he wishes he had met me at a different time ... but then surely if you liked someone you'd try and make it work?
    Any thoughts?

He's just not looking for a relationship right now. He will miss you if you forget him for a bit.
