Little Red Bumps On Upper Lip

I got these little red bumps on the inside of my upper lip recently (about monday). They are painless, tiny and are only apparent in the area on my upper lip, it feels a bit rough to the tongue. Then recently, about two days ago, a rough spotless patch appeared on the left side of my lip, on the inside of the mouth.

Now that the new patch of 'rough' has appeared, the patch of bumps in my upper lip feel slightly less rough like.

Im concerned it may be, for example, oral cancer!
What could it be? should i not worry about oral cancer? im not experiencing any other symptoms?

NB: Please don't reply with go see a doctor, im looking for logical and possible reasons/causes.

Thankyou!

I dont realy know, there are many of them (around 5-6), they are very small and painless.

Erm... do you have braces as they might be caused by your lip rubbing them? -It's quite hard to come up with an explaination and although you have said not to, I'm going to say go to the doctors as it's obviously a concern of yours that needs to be sorted!

Assuming you're young and don't smoke, that's pretty damned unlikely.

Have a look at this if you're concerned, though: http://www.rdoc.org.uk/
