I am doing my bio coursework where I recorded velocity of a stream, and unfortunately I only had time to record it 3 times at each point. For example 0.044, 0.047 and 0.057 and I need to prove whether or not lets say 0.057 is an anomaly, I have tried using boxplots etc to prove it but there is not enough data to do box plots. Is there any other way to prove or disprove it?

Well, the biggest difference between the values occurs with 0.057 - I.E 0.044 and 0.047 are closer than the third value which is a significant sum greater..you could base it on something along those lines but yeah, it may be difficult since you don't have anywhere near enough data. Your options are limited anyway so go for it, talk to your teacher to see if it is acceptable.
