    Without realising?

This story asks some of the questions: http://www.bbc.co.uk/newsbeat/articl...-if-im-a-bully

I think it's quite an interesting concept, that people don't always realise they are bullying people.

I think we have all been in that situation in school where we follow the rest of the class in making fun of a set individual/ or don't do anything about it.

I've never actually witnessed it from this prospective before, or seen it.

Yes, especially with friends. I come across as quite loud and upfront and one of then in particular was very shy and quiet, even around friends and I sometimes purposefully pushed him to try and bring him out his shell which he probably seen as nasty and looking back it was pretty *****y. I should have just accepted his personality.

I never stuck up for a girl getting bullied in the early years of secondary. I was vulnerable myself and grateful it wasn't me. Wish I had bit the bullet and told the bullies they were pathetic and what they were saying about the girl was untrue.

Yeah, looking back I wish I had been more self aware sometimes. I don't think I ever really bullied anyone, but there were times when I was moody and not nice to be around.

Most of my bullying was done on purpose, but yeah, sometimes I did it accidentally.

Yeah, I probably have on this website. If anyone on here feels that I have, though, I'll openly apologise to them.

Didn't even read, I already know that I used to bully my best friend completely unintentionally. Yup I was a ****.

Yeah, but it's never ever been intentional and I wouldn't consider it bullying but not doing anything when other people said something. I feel guilty to even think I could make someone upset

Probably. Sometimes I just don't think about what I'm saying and then later on I realise what a **** I must have sounded like.

Children and teenagers can be cruel, but when you're a teenager all the hormone changes going on can really mess you up, and some people become more aggressive than usual, like during puberty. but you usually go back to normal after a while.
