    Hi all,

Recently went for my CBAT and didn't make the cut grade for my favored WSOp role. I am now looking at ASOp and have my Airman interview tomorrow at AFCO.

Anyone know how possible it is to switch to WSOp down the line? With ASOp being the closest trade to it, i'd assume the chance is greater than other trades?

    Thanks.

Very little chance. Few people 'move between Trades / Roles' in the Forces, especially in air-related roles. The amount of training they put into you to achieve your role is huge. I believe you could apply, but you'd effectively have to apply through the careers system again and be in competition with everyone else.
Don't join in a job with the intention of doing something else later. You might end up very unhappy in a job you didn't want to do.

There are zero similarities between WSOp and ASOp other than the names.

You would have to apply like again like a civvi and go through the same selection process. There is no internal career change.
